A long-time go-to for a good lunch. Love the buffet as an option for a good, filling meal with the surprise (if you didn't know) of happening to be vegetarian. Also I really like the homemade hot sauce/salsa/paste that they offer - fresh made.

Always a fantastic meal. Veggie platter is your best choice and a good variety. I've been coming here for years. The green hot sauce is what sets this place apart from other Ethiopian joints in the city. The decor is definitely.. minimal but if you care about the food more than anything this is the place!

Thoroughly enjoyed the lunch buffet. Everything was delicious and it was very reasonably priced given what you are getting. The staff were friendly and it was a nice environment. Will definitely go there again and suggest others give this place a try.

I crave this place every so often. When I left Winnipeg for two years, this was my go to when I return to Winnipeg, I canΓ’β¬β’t find another Ethiopian restaurant so far that taste better than this. I usually do take out here but still prefers eating in because of the big plate. The combo platter that serves two is the best bang for you buck. It could feed up to 3 people!
